Stumble is an app for student group project and study meet-ups that I and my team developed in my Human-Computer Interaction course at UGA. This project involved the user-centered design process in which we conducted surveys and interviews on UGA students in order to create an iterative design that evolved into a phone app prototype using Marvel.
In our research, we determined that many UGA students used dating apps such as Tinder, Bumble, and others that have a "swiping" feature in which users can swipe on other users to find their matches based off of shown information. We took this familiar concept and transformed it into a more academic setting. This familiarity of use was a major plus of this design when we established user testing on other UGA students in order to obtain feedback about our prototype.
